I previously bought analog cameras and DVR, but it died in a matter of two years. All in all a great product for the price.

The instructions that come with it give basic install instructions, but don't go into detail about doing a static IP and secure port to access over the web. SECURITY MADE SMARTER: Once connected to an NVR you can live stream and trigger push notifications on your mobile device via the latest Swann Security app. One thing I wish was better out of the box was in-depth instructions. If you are planning on viewing from the web, you will have to do some setup to get a static IP, but its not hard to do. Accessing my Cams from Reolink App is easy and I can watch on my smart phone. You can rename camera to unique names, decide on the resolution (although once you see your camera in 4MP, you won’t want anything less.), set motion detection areas, and alerts.

The configuration menus in the NVR are easy to understand, create a password and you are off and running. Simply plug the ethernet cable into the NVR system and then the NVR system to the router and cameras are up and running. This allowed me to aim and adjust the cameras in just the right position without going up the ladder, making adjustments, going down the ladder, up to the monitor, over and over and over again. Hooking up my cameras was easy as I was able to plug the camera into the router and access the footage from my smart phone.
